Delete your iYiYi account
This page explains how to delete your account in the iYiYi: Grow Your Local Socials app (developer: iYiYi) and what happens to your data.
Option 1: Delete it in the app (instant)
- Open the iYiYi app and sign in.
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Delete my account and confirm.
Your account is deleted right away.
Option 2: Ask us by email
If you can't open the app, email info@iyiyi.xyz from the email address on your account (or tell us your username and phone number) with the subject "Delete my iYiYi account". We delete it within 30 days and reply to confirm.
Data that is deleted
- Your profile: username, name, photo, bio and social links
- Your email address or phone number and sign-in details
- Photos and videos you posted, and your posts and events
- Your location history and map visibility
- Followers, following, likes and saved items
- Game, laser tag and leaderboard data
Data that may be kept
- Crash and error logs, which don't show your profile, are kept for up to 90 days and then deleted.
- Purchase records are kept only as long as the law requires for tax and accounting. Payments themselves are handled by Apple or Google.
- Your safe zone is stored only on your phone and is removed when you delete the app.
